By now you have all heard the news that Jamie Dixon has left Pitt to coach the TCU Horned Frogs. As we have all gathered, the Panthers didn't exactly stand in his way. Athletics director Scott Barnes made it clear that they would have kept him on, but the program is now headed in a new direction with his exit. A search is already on and apparently Scott Barnes already has a short list of names for the job.
I know the fan base has a few different feelings on Dixon's departure and results on his departure seem mostly pretty mixed. There's the sentiment that he's accomplished a lot here, but also that lately, the program hasn't done enough. Weighing everything, where do you stand on his exit?
Considering what he's done in his career, what he's done lately, and the opportunity to find a new leader for the program, was this the right time for Dixon to move on?
