Earlier today, it was determined that Pitt would meet Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament. We already knew the Panthers and Badgers would face each other on Friday, but now we know the time as well.
Unlike the ACC Tournament where Pitt played a couple of noon games, the Panthers were given a night game for their first-round matchup against Wisconsin - the game will be at 6:50 p.m. (ET) as revealed by USA Today's Dan Wolken on Twitter and will be on TNT.
That's great news for a lot of people. While some may not be thrilled with the idea of the game on a Friday night, for most of us that work during the day, it's a pleasant change from those afternoon ACC Tournament games. Having the game on Friday night makes it much more doable for a lot of folks.
The game on Friday also, obviously, means that should the Panthers win, they would play next on Sunday.
