The Panthers are back to the Pete after beating up on Duquesne on Friday. Pitt looks for their sixth win of the season at noon today against Central Arkansas.
Pitt should be on a bit of a cruise control here until the December 20th showdown against Davidson. This game starts a three-game set against them, Eastern Washington, and Morehead State. Not that Pitt should be taking anyone lightly here, but again, this is a game where if you show up ready to play, you should win.
Also of note is that Central Arkansas is a particularly bad opponent. They are 1-6 on the season and have been blown out several times already, having lost by 27 to UMass, 17 to Tulsa, 19 to Howard, and 43 to Oklahoma. All signs just point to a pretty easy Pitt win today.
This is one game where Pitt won't be overmatched on size. The Bears' tallest player is 6'9" and 5'11" Jordan Howard represents the team as its leading scorer (16.7 points per game).
Barring a complete disaster, nothing to see here. But hey, do stop in and join our gamethread to comment live during the action. After all, it's still Pitt basketball.
Game time is at high noon.
