Under new coach Pat Narduzzi, Pitt heads into its third ACC season this fall. But it wasn't all that long ago when the program was disappointing in the Big East despite having what was seen as a fairly deep pool of talent. SB Nation's Big East Coast Bias did an incredible job putting together a recent post to get the band back together, via video game simulations. In it, they set up the Big East once again, including its former teams.
So of course since the Panthers struggled to win the conference when they were actually in it, they somehow managed to come out on top in the game simulations (Using NCAA14).
And, you guessed it, Pitt went 6-6. Of course they did.
I won't give away the entire article, but head over and check it out on their site. They even ran a bowl simulation with the Panthers in the BCS and some surprising results.
